**Description**:
**The role**:
We have an opportunity for an Emergency Cleaning and Maintenance Officer, who is responsible for responding to and performing emergency cleaning activities at client sites and maintenance of all Tradeflex-owned machinery and equipment. The role is a hands-on position. The role will be based in Scoresby.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Emergency Cleaning in the form of vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens, removal of general waste, emergency call-out for spills, etc.
- Steam cleaning of carpets including flood response, sharps removable
- Provide a fast and effective service for emergency response requests
- General repairs and maintenance duties if required
- Securing premises, facilitating and coordinating emergency contractors
- Documenting and maintaining records in Tradeflex systems regarding Tradeflex assets, including creating and following up on quotes
- Assist with testing and tagging services, the creation of machine and equipment-related documentation
- Assist with providing training on the use and maintenance of machinery to cleaning staff

**To be successful you will have**:

- Minimum 1-year hands-on experience in cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of associated equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of basic OH&S practices, risk assessments, and job safety analysis
- Previous hands-on experience in cleaning, steam cleaning, repairs, and maintenance is highly desirable
- A valid working with children check & National Police Clearance
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer literacy including demonstrated basic understanding and use of Microsoft Word or Excel
- Ability to work independently requiring mínimal supervision
- Ability to work and manage timeframes to ensure work is completed within a set period
- Competent in the use of basic hand and power tools
