Dental Assistant

We are growing and currently have a position at Kawana Dental available. We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our busy, modern, and most importantly **fun** Sunshine Coast practice.

We've been family owned and operated for over 35 years and are proudly one of the largest single dental practices on the Sunshine Coast. Kawana Dental is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and improving the oral health of our community. We take pride in our commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction, offering a wide range of dental services in a state-of-the-art facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
- Sterilise and process dental equipment and instruments and adhere to infection control procedures.
- Warmly greet and prepare patients for dental procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Smooth and efficient running of the sterilisation room, infection control and procedures.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Dental 4 Windows experience a bonus.
