We service and maintain solid liquid separation equipment, and we are looking for an experienced Fitter.
The position is partially Mine Site based and partially based in our Wangara Workshop.

**Main Responsibilities**

We are looking to hire a hard-working and skilled fitter to fabricate, fit, and assemble the structural components of various mechanical systems. The fitter's responsibilities include keeping accurate records of all maintenance work done, repairing malfunctioning mechanical systems, and evening out any rough spots on the fabricated components. You should also be able to collaborate with other Fitters on large-scale projects.

**Main Tasks**

Analysing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.

Constructing structural components from raw materials

Using welding equipment to fuse structural components.

Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size.

Utilising shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed.

Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.

Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning system.

Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and equipment.

May erect machines and equipment on-site.

**Qualifications**

Must hold a certified Fitter (including Machining) Certificateor relevant experience.

**Experience**
At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment.

Essential to have experience in maintaining and operating the following equipment:
Larox Tower Press Filter, Larox Ceramic Disc Filter,
Roytec Thickeners, Roytec Vacuum Belt Filters and Roytec Pressure Filters.

Must have experience in the mining industry - overhauling and repairing Pumps, Pinch Valves, Ball Mills, Jaw Crushers and Linear Belt screens.

**Salary**: From $100,000.00 per year
