As a Youth Advisor, your **passion, creativity, sense of humour and five or more years of experience** will be a valued addition to an already **amazing, dedicated team**. Matching your flexible and autonomous nature, you’ll join your colleagues in person **once a week in our office in Ryde**, then **work to your own schedule**, either from home, or on client visits.

- Experience in **providing psychosocial support and targeted intervention to young people**:
- Expertise in **connecting people with disability to the relevant agencies**:
- **Registration with a professional industry body** (AASW or APS)
- Clear written and verbal **communication skills**:
- An aptitude for **working autonomously**:
- A **current drivers’ licence** and comprehensively insured car
Reporting directly to a passionate and supportive CEO, your role entails:
- **Improving the mental health of children and young people** at risk of Huntington’s disease, or living with a family member affected
- **Delivering information sessions** to schools, parents and carers
- **Organising group events** to build connections and foster supportive relationships
- **Driving and leading** youth counselling sessions
- **Developing** effective, specific emotional coping strategies for children and young people
- **Contributing **to mandatory compliance audits and reporting requirements
