We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who values high quality patient experience and attention to detail. You will be working in our boutique, state-of-the-art, architecturally designed clinic in Hunters Hill on Mondays and Tuesdays initially.

Certificate III or IV will be highly regarded, although not essential.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**:
Your role as Dental Assistant is to prepare for patients' treatments and assist dentist in providing treatment. You will also be required to carry out basic reception and administration duties as needed.

**Some of the daily tasks and responsibilities include**:

- Prepare and set-up the surgery with the appropriate instruments/materials for each patient according to the treatment required.
- Decontamination, cleaning and sterilisation of equipment and instruments.

**Skills and experience**:
You will display a genuine enthusiasm to learn, show initiative and responsibility and be willing to become part of a dedicated, hardworking team of professionals.

**You should be able to demonstrate**:

- A strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- An ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Flexibility and ability to adapt
- Proficient computer skills (experience with Dental4Windows or D4Web preferable)
- Outstanding communication skills
- Genuine, warm customer service (patient) experience
- Experience in all areas of dentistry and willingness to continue to skill up
