**About Us**

Rosmech Sales & Service is a well-established leader in the street sweeper industry. We are seeking mechanically minded individuals to use their knowledge coupled with on the job training, encouraging broader skill sets, growth and development of our future team.

**The Role**

The permanent full-time position will report to the Production Manager. Some of the core duties of this position are:

- Assembly of new machinery
- Fabrication and vehicle modifications
- Assembly, modification, and fitment of the 12V/24V automotive electrical components and options on new machinery.
- Fault diagnosis and rectification

**The requirements**

The successful applicant must:

- Hold at least an AQF Level IV qualification (or comparable international qualification) as a Mechanic, Fitter or Auto Electrician;
- Have proficient mechanical and fitter knowledge;
- Have at least three years’ relevant employment experience;
- Demonstrated abilities with hydraulic and pneumatic components;
- Ability to use power tools and MiG welding techniques;
- Have a Driver’s License;
- Display a sense of urgency and punctuality in their work;
- Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to ascertain their ability to adequately perform all duties as required; and
- Be neat and tidy, take responsibility for own workspace.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Salisbury Plain, SA 5109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
