**Melville Volkswagen** are seeking a motivated **Yard Hand **to join our busy service department.

**The Role**:

- Carry out the process of checking into stock new & used vehicles (Visual Inspections VIA checklist ).
- Data entry of vehicle information into our computer system.
- General driving of vehicles for the purpose of refuelling & offsite inspections (weigh bridge & pit inspection).
- Liaising and consulting with senior staff on any vehicle condition related concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are arranged properly.
- Assist with moving vehicles on the lot, including parking, repositioning, and maintaining a neat and orderly display.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service

**YOU**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Confident driving vehicles of different models and sizes
- Reliable, conscientious, and willing to learn
- Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid manual driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded however not essential as **full training will be provided.**
