**The Role**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Consultant to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting a diverse customer base—including trade professionals, retail customers, architects, interior designers and specifiers—by offering expert product advice, assisting with layout and design selections, and ensuring our showroom is always visually appealing and inspiring. This is a great opportunity for someone with retail or trade experience who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering practical, stylish solutions.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Engaging with customers to understand their project needs and providing tailored product advice
- Offering design assistance and layout suggestions using tools or sketches
- Maintaining and styling product displays to reflect the latest trends
- Proactively promoting new products and special offers
- Building and maintaining relationships with trade professionals, design clients and retail customers
- Assisting with quotes, orders, returns, and showroom stock management
- Contributing ideas for social media content and in-store events

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience in a retail environment (hardware, timber, or building supplies preferred)
- Trade or construction experience highly regarded
- Strong product knowledge across timber, hardware, and renovation supplies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence in upselling and problem-solving for customer needs
- Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment

**How to Apply**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
