Join one of our prestigious client's dynamic team as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations in our food manufacturing facility. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious food products.

In this role, you will work on cutting-edge automated equipment, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, and support continuous improvement projects — all while ensuring a safe and supportive workplace.

**Responsibilities**
- Proactively identify and coordinate preventative maintenance activities.
- Complete planned maintenance tasks and prioritize breakdowns to meet production needs.
- Provide technical support and training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting.
- Document all work performed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Investigate equipment issues to prevent out-of-spec finished goods.
- Assist in meeting safety, quality, and industry standards, including BRC compliance.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects.

**Qualifications**

Required:

- Mechanical Fitter Trade or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in fault-finding and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ability to read schematic diagrams and interpret machinery manuals.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional teamwork and reporting.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (specific shifts detailed in the description).

Preferred:

- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Welding, turning, and sheet metal fabrication skills.
- Automation experience is a bonus but not essential.
