Customer Strategy and Technology Division (CST) within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW.

**The opportunity**

We have a Permanent Full Time opportunity for a Communications Business Partner (Senior Media and Content Officer) to join the TfNSW Media branch based at our Elizabeth Street Office.

TfNSW offers flexible working arrangements with a balance of office and work from home options.

If successful, you will provide support to the cluster, partner agencies and Ministerial Offices in developing proactive media materials and supporting content to positively reinforce the projects and programs of the organisation.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Identify media and content opportunities for multi-channel story telling across multiple platforms including traditional media outlets.
- Work in collaboration with project teams, to develop strategic proactive approaches and to design, develop and deploy appropriate proactive media content to meet business objectives.
- Build relationships across the agency to manage the creation and delivery of proactive media solutions.
- Work collaboratively with partners across the business, social media and creative production teams to develop detailed proposals for new creative content and proactive media strategies and delivery plans.
- Drive strategic and successful media and communications campaigns across a wide range of transport and whole-of-government projects to suit various audiences.
- Responsible for identifying contentious and emergent issues and monitoring the needs and perceptions of customers, the community and industry.
- Liaising with media outlets and developing timely and accurate responses to media enquiries.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in developing proactive media content communication plans and content within a customer-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and content development space.
- Demonstrated experience writing media content and generating supporting visual content.
- You will have the ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic.
- You possess strong interpersonal and communications skills and are well versed in building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders alike.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to lead a number of projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 8 ($123,470 - $138,284) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
