**Role Description/Criteria**

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- a commitment to Catholic education, and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education
- a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
- a proven ability to lead change and drive school improvement in line with the school’s strategic plan
- the ability to embed a culture of high expectation of student learning and build expert teacher practice which is evidence based, high impact and inclusive
- the ability to gather and analyse data to inform and drive learning and teaching
- relevant leadership experience within the last five years in Catholic parish primary schools

This is an ongoing position in the school with the leadership role being a 3 year contract.

Applicants need to include:

- a cover letter (of no more than 2 pages) outlining suitability for the position
- a response to the selection criteria
- a completed MACS Primary Deputy Application Form
- a completed Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority Fit and Proper Statutory Declaration Form
