Leveraging Levy Australia’s cutting-edge, guest-centric approach you will be tasked with delivering legendary experiences for the up to three million guests to hundreds of events the park welcomes each year, including the world’s biggest tennis tournament, the Australian Open. Fast paced, and no two days the same. As an operations assistant you will be at the centre of our new partnership with Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP).
- Play a pivotal role in our new collaboration, influencing the retail landscape.
- Lead a creative team to amplify guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Shape and elevate our retail evolution with innovative strategies.
Not only an exciting role, this presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience and contribute to the launch of Levy’s first partnership in Australia. Already delivering legendary experiences at iconic events and destinations overseas, including Wimbledon, The US Open and Dodger Stadium, our partnership with M&OP will extend our exposure to the biggest and best and usher in a revolutionary change to the Australian hospitality scene.
**THE POSITION**
- Work closely with the operations manager across 3 venues.
- Provide administrative support.
- Coordinate retail operations and ensure employees meet schedules and objectives.
- Help oversee facility vendors.
- Performing inventory management and stock control, when required
- Support the operational manager on tasks and projects when required.
- Work closely with the logistics and operations team to ensure all events are delivered and closed off seamlessly.
- Promoting an exceptional and safe operational environment
**THE PERSON**
- Proven experience in a food retail environment ideally within a fast-paced sports or entertainment venue.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and troubleshoot operational challenges.
- Strategic problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to resolve issues and maintain operational continuity during events.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- A positive attitude and love for events and sports.
