Head of Enterprise Risk & Compliance (12-Month Parental Leave - Start date 9th Dec) **How will you make an impact?** Are you a dynamic people leader, wanting to spearhead enterprise risk and compliance management at Hostplus? Collaborate with executives, uplift and embed frameworks, and ensure regulatory compliance. If you possess industry expertise and are a strategic risk and compliance leader of diverse second line teams, this is for you. **The opportunity** As the Head of Enterprise Risk & Compliance, you will work closely with senior executives to ensure that the Fund's risk, compliance and financial crime management policies, procedures and frameworks are implemented effectively to manage and mitigate risk exposure. You will develop and embed the ongoing process for the identification, management and reporting of emerging risks and compliance obligations. Cross team collaboration will be important to ensure effective and efficient risk and compliance oversight as well as identification of ongoing improvements to the Hostplus Risk, AML/CTF and Compliance Management Frameworks. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will play a lead role in supporting the Board, CEO and Group Executive in the Fund's strategic and business planning activities and ongoing assessment of risk and compliance. This will involve the preparation and presentation of enterprise risk and compliance reporting on second line management practices and emerging risks. Naturally, this role will also provide you with the opportunity to showcase your leadership capability in coaching and supporting the Risk team across Melbourne and Adelaide to deliver the Risk and Compliance business plan, while working closely with the Head of Investment Risk and Compliance. **About you** You will bring significant industry experience from within the financial services sector in a risk and compliance management role coupled with strong experience in a strategic leadership role. You will have hands-on experience in the design and development of risk and compliance management frameworks and strategies as well as their embedment. You will hold qualifications in risk, compliance and leadership with a degree in a relevant discipline. On an interpersonal level, you will possess strong communication skills that allows you to communicate ideas with conviction and gain the buy-in of your stakeholders. You will be able to provide clear direction and prioritisation to your teams and be able to deliver ambitious change management plans.
