IMPS is a small family owned centre and leading provider of Montessori education in the area with an Exceeding rating.

We are situated in the Illawarra region close to beaches, lakes and national parks and offer all the facilities that a large city has to offer.
**The opportunity**:
We currently have a full-time position available for the suitable person to lead our centre which caters for children from 2-6 years. We are searching for an enthusiastic and passionate educator with interest and experience in Special Needs who is looking for a chance to further their career in
Leadership and Management.
**You will**:

- Have a strong interest in Montessori education
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong desire to build a collaborative and supportive team
- Support the child and work with the parents in an inclusive environment
- Develop nurturing and caring relationships with the children based on respect and trust;
- Have a desire to continue the centre's high standards of education and care through leadership and management practices
- Enjoy the experience of supervising and guiding student teachers

**We would like**
- A recognised Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching degree approved by the Australian

Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA);
- A recognised 3 - 6 Montessori diploma or desire to gain this;
- A WWCC (Working with Children Check)
- A relevant and approved First Aid Certificate and Child Protection training or willingness to obtain;
- COVID-19 Australian recognised double vaccination certificate.
