**About the role**:
AGA is looking for someone to kickstart their career in electrical with the opportunity to working in all sides of trade; domestic, industrial, and commercial. This is a full-time role and the Host Employer is based in Sale, VIC.

Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful apprentice as well as providing on the job training for approximately 4 years. **About you**:

- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (Paid for by AGA)
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Drivers licence and car essential
- Strong willed and dedicated
- Excellent communication skills
- Good at problem solving
- Hearing test required
- White Card
- Pre-App in Electrotechnology essential

**What you will do**:

- Install electrical and electronic control systems
- Assemble electrical and electronic components and appliances
- Connect electrical equipment to power supplies
- Maintain automated production processes
- Select and cut wires or cables
- Connect wires or cables to terminals or connectors according to wiring diagrams
- Operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, drilling machines, welding and heating equipment, and hoists
