RAC Auto Services is expanding its fleet of Mobile Service Vans, and we're seeking qualified and experienced Mechanics ready to take their skills beyond the traditional workshop. Be part of a team dedicated to supporting our members and community by working out and about-offering top-notch vehicle servicing and repair directly in our customers' neighbourhoods. Our Mobile Mechanics operate in community "hubs" across nine metro-based service canters. We're actively recruiting throughout our entire network, with immediate opportunities available What Can We Offer You?- 9-day Fortnight - discover how you can earn full-time wages while enjoying the convenience of a nine-day fortnight.- $2000 New Start Bonus + Monthly Incentives + Annual Salary Increases- Competitive Salary 38-hour working week, Monday to Friday- Fortnightly Pay Runs: Guaranteed on-time payment- Fully Equipped Van: Company-provided, fully stocked van (plus a fuel card) that you can take home- Technology Provided: Company tablet for work tasks- Training Opportunities: Qualifications in new vehicle technology- Career Growth: Leadership development programs for those looking to move off the tools- Health and Wellbeing: Free physio program and tailored company uniform- Social Benefits: Regular social club events and exclusive RAC employee member benefits What Will You Be Doing?- Providing on-site vehicle service when members cannot bring their cars to our workshops-offering a "mini workshop on wheels".- Delivering quality customer service, offering advice, and presenting vehicle care solutions.- Conducting fault diagnosis, service, inspection, and repairs of light vehicles.- Maintaining detailed records: Vehicle information, parts used, services performed, invoicing, and part returns.- Keeping the mobile van clean and well-stocked to ensure efficient service delivery.- Assisting at RAC Auto Service canters as needed to help meet customer demand. What Are We Looking For in You?- Trade Qualification: Light Vehicle Automotive Technician.- Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.- A C Class Manual Driving License.- Motor Vehicle Repair Licence (desirable).- Customer Service Excellence: Strong ability to communicate effectively and build positive workplace relationships.
