Book Keeper

We are looking for a passionate and capable Book Keeper of The Beach People finances. This
person will work with our small but motivated team on the border of the Gold Coast and Northern New
South Wales in Tweed Heads. This role covers all finance related duties in relation to the daily running
of the business. We are looking for someone permanent (holiday and sick pay as well as super) 25
hours a week, ideally 5 hours a day. This role would suit a working parent in school hours.

**This role includes but is not limited to**:
Daily Bank and Sales reconciliations for all sectors of the business including Wholesale,
Ecommerce and Retail outlets
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Payroll for AU entity including Superannuation, management of staff sick and annual leave
pay and payroll onboarding
Reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts
Reporting of Sales daily
BAS & PAYG lodgements
End of month reporting
Liaising with accountants on EOFY
Adhoc reporting to management as required
Inventory management
Software integration management between inventory and accounting systems.
General operational and office support as required
Communication with US based staff as required
DUTIES INCLUDED
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience in small business
Recent Xero Experience
Strong Communication Skills
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Intermediate experience with Excel
Exposure to eCommerce trade is highly desirable, but not essential.
Must have the right to live and work in Australia
