**About the Role**
The role of Psychosocial Recovery Coach is to work collaboratively with clients, their families and supports to design, plan and implement mental health recovery plans that are specific to the individual. The role seeks to build strong, respectful relationships with clients, driven by the coaching of positive, healthy habits and aiming to build up the capacity, strengths and resilience of clients. The role relies upon honesty, integrity and sound problem solving skills to always be focused on achieving outcomes for clients. The role also liaises with various internal stakeholders to ensure that a considered, holistic approach is being taken towards client care.
**Key focuses for the role include**:
- Maintaining progress notes and reporting these back to internal stakeholders.
- Identifying potential crisis situations and proactively, effectively managing these.
- Working with clients to develop strategies and positive habits for implementation throughout their daily lives.
- Discussing progress and strategies with the families and representatives of clients.
**Skills & Experience**
As well as the above, the **Key Requirements **include:
- Possess or willing to obtain a Working With Children Check and an NDIS Clearance Check.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience as within a relevant field.
- Previous experience working within the NDIS is desirable but not essential.
