**About the role**
We are expanding our design function We are looking for a Senior Design Researcher to join our Environment team and help us craft our next generation Environmental Management Solution.
About you?
- You understand that good product design and customer experience starts with great user research.
- You love spending time talking to customers, immersing yourself in their world and uncovering novel end user insights.
- You are at home leading all aspects of design research, from research participant recruitment, running workshops to synthesising the customer voice and translating research insights.
- You are a master investigator who knows how to frame powerful questions and facilitate in depth research conversations.
- You are a natural facilitator who is comfortable planning and running group conversations and research activities in order to uncover novel insights.
- You are vigilant about bias and are passionate about debunking assumptions and ensuring that the customer voice is front and centre in product development.
- You enjoy exploring complex business domains and are comfortable navigating ambiguous problem spaces.
- You take a systems view of the world, always looking for new ways to deliver value to customers and your team.
- You use visual tools to create engaging artefacts that convey complex information but are still easy to consume.
- You champion the development of good design research and are excited to adopt the latest practices in Research Ops, Action Research and Design Research.
- You are a Design Research Leader and are at ease guiding teams to deliver best practice research methodologies.
- You are a knowledge translation master and thrive working in and across diverse teams to build knowledge hubs and shared understanding.
- You are passionate about design and continuously look for opportunities to develop your own practice and support others on their design journey.

Salary Range - $130-$150k depending on experience
