**About the role**
**TAFE SA** is looking for a highly skilled and experienced **Functional Analyst** to join its **ICT Services team**. This key role involves supporting student-centric systems by providing functional analysis, expert advice, and contributing to both business-as-usual (BAU) and transformational ICT projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and review functional analysis and ICT service delivery programs for student information systems.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate business analysis projects, ensuring requirements are gathered and functional test plans are built.
- Develop and deliver pre
- and post-process documentation to support business needs and technological improvements.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to align technology strategies with business requirements.
- Create and execute test cases, oversee defect management, and ensure solutions meet quality standards.
- Significant experience in functional analysis and ICT service delivery, resolving complex issues in educational systems.
- Expertise in delivering level 2/3 functional support, gathering requirements, and performing business and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of ICT methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile Scrum, Kanban) and government policies related to information security and compliance.
- Functional understanding of student-centric enterprise systems and organisational change management principles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team, meeting tight deadlines with high-quality outcomes.

**Special Conditions**
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- This role’s location is currently site specific, which may change due to the business needs of the role and TAFE SA.
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Development Program
