This is an exciting opportunity for a person who would like to start a career in Early Learning. This **full time Traineeship** allows you to study while gaining valuable experience in the field. **About the Service**

**St John's Child Care (Neutral Bay)** is a not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre, providing Quality Care and Education to birth-6-year of age. The centre caters for up to 44 children and is easily accessible by public transport via Military Road. Operating hours are from 7am-6pm.

As an active team member, you will be required to support the service in the provision of high-quality care and education for children.

**What you’ll be doing in this role**

As a Trainee, you will be allowed to study while gaining valuable experience in the Early Learning field. You’ll learn to provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework

**Your work may include**:

- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Commitment to studying and learning while working in a rewarding environment

**Who we’re looking for**
- **Applicants must be at least 18 years of age**:

- **No previous qualifications of certificate 3 in Early Learning**:

- Be passionate and enthusiastic about working with children of all ages.
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
