Western Health is committed to meaningful partnerships with our consumers and community. Our Lived Experience Advisor (LEA) roles aim to amplify consumer voices in quality improvement activities, especially for those with the highest health needs or at the most risk of service inequity.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our maternity services project team as a Lived Experience Advisor; in recognition of the invaluable impact of lived experience in shaping safe and effective health services.

As a Lived Experience Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in the project team completing current antenatal and maternity service reviews. Supported by the Consumer Partnerships Manager and collaborating closely with the Women's and Children's Division’s project and quality improvement leads, you will focus on reviewing current services, attending project team meetings and suggesting improvement opportunities from a lived experience perspective.

This is a temporary, part-time position for 12 months (one day per week or per fortnight considered).
