**DP World Australia Terminal Head Office**
This role is based at the Terminal Head Office located at our Sydney Terminal in Botany Bay in Sydney's southeast with some flexibility to work from home on agreed days. With bespoke offices, ample parking and facilities, located near major transport hubs, this is a great location to interact with colleagues and customers alike.
**About the role**
You will support the management of the visual reporting platform (Qlik Sense) and assist with content management within The National Operations Group.
**Key accountabilities**
- Develop, optimise and publish new and existing visual reports and dashboards to support National Operations and Terminal Business.
- Support the management of the visual reporting platform (Qlik Sense) and assist with content management within existing visualisation and reporting tools, including publication of new or changed dashboards and reports.
- Recommend and implement the best methods for the company to obtain and analyst data whilst improving the efficiency.
- Provide operational support for Business Intelligence and Analytics activities, using a range of administrative and support services and functions, including; writing reports based on data and giving comments, maintain Qlik Sense software and tasks to support internal customers.
- Perform data related tasks to support projects, including reconciling data, extract data, clean data and identify problems
- Lead critical complex data analysis to develop business intelligence and information solutions and to present data to the business in formats which facilitate improved decision making
- Contribute to data governance by escalating data quality issues and inconsistencies for assessment and remediation
- Maintain data quality standards and undertake a program of activities to assess and test data against company KPI standards and act to improve the quality of data.
**Experience, skills and qualifications**
- Formal tertiary Quantitative degree such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science with significant relevant industry experience.
- Use of reporting & Business Intelligence tools, preferably Qlik Sense/QlikView. Experience with SAS, MS PowerBI, Tableau, Micro-Strategy, Tibco, COGNOS is also desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in utilising of quantitative programming languages like SAS, SQL, R, Python, Julia, Chapel, C/C++/C#
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to analyse large datasets.
- Advanced analytical skills to enable a logical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills required for continuous interfacing with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to translate customer needs and proactively identify operational issues and recommend solutions.
- Good written skills, in order to be able to prepare concise, clear reports, as required.
- Ability to work in a fast
- paced business environment and accommodate changing business requirements.
- Ability and willingness to take on, develop and retain ownership of role-related projects within the company.
- Be proactive in the development and introduction of standard reporting and implementing.
- Must be able to work both unsupervised and also as part of a team, when required.
