This is a full-time permanent position, working regular business hours Monday through Friday. Initially, the hours will be 08H00 - 16.30H00.

**About the Role**:
Working as part of a large, friendly team and reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the stock on hand levels that makes Haymans Airport the market leader in product availability and customer service. You will also be ensuring that this stock is purchased in a timely manner and that stock is held at a competitive market price.

This position would suit someone looking for a role with variety and an opportunity to develop and progress in a business that offers training and mentorship.

**Specific responsibilities will include**:

- Proactively ordering branch stock in conjunction with the needs of the sales team
- Purchasing and sourcing products for customer orders in quick time
- Scheduling monthly bulk orders and the negotiation of competitive prices
- Forward ordering import items and ensuring timely receipt.
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Maintaining stock system reports to ensure maximum fill rate and service rate targets are met.
- Building relationships with internal teams for accurate and efficient outcomes
- Protecting the business’s nett investment and keeping stock fresh and topical
- Ad-hoc duties around the branch as required.

**About you**:

- Electrical product knowledge and/or electrical wholesale experience (desirable).
- An interest in specialising in a purchasing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative and the ability to problem solve.
- The desire and drive for a long-term career.
- A willingness to pitch in across all areas of the business.
- Have unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
