Night Shift Transport Forklift Operators

Our client; a National Leader in the Transport and Distribution sector are currently seeking NIGHT SHIFT **TRANSPORT FORKLIFT OPERATORS / YARD HANDS** to join their growing team based in Wetherill Park.
Ongoing work with the view to go permanent. Monday - Friday.
DAY shift with Overtime (where required) ASAP Start for successful applicants.
Shift times will be a 6pm start up to 2am finish Monday to Friday and overtime where required.
Pay Rate $42.16 PER HOUR
**ABOUT THE POSITION**
Within this hands on role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to assist in the day to day running of the yard:
- running freight within the yard
- counter balance forklift operation
- Loading and unloading trucks
- strapping down freight
- staging freight in allocated slots within the yard
- Manual handling / general hand duties and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Previous experience within a similar position would be advantageous. _
**To be considered for this role, applicants MUST**:
- Forklift Licence with minimum 2 years experience
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- experience with Counter Balance Forklifts
- General Labouring and Manual handling work
- Be available to work Monday - Friday with possible Saturday
- Must be physically fit (as manual handling will be involved)
- Be Reliable and Punctual
- High attention to Detail and communication skills
- Have own reliable transportation
- Be available to commence ASAP
- Have all relevant PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Cap boots / High Visibility Clothing (any other required PPE will be advised)
- This position will provide stability and with ongoing support and potential permanency for the successful applicants_
