Assistant Director of Nursing

A Nurse Grade 10 is a registered nurse/registered midwife who demonstrates:
- competence in the provision of nursing/midwifery care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care; and
- advanced clinical management and/or a specified portfolio expertise.
The position of Assistant Director of Nursing, Command Centre is responsible for:
- Leading the SCHHS Disaster Management Governance Framework.
- Leading the SCHHS Patient Flow Governance Framework.
- Leading the SCHHS Emergent Nursing Leave Relief Approach, including permanent and casual nursing pool management.
- Coordinating and supporting the tactical and operational service objectives of the Command Centre, inclusive of the Command Centre Model of Care.
- Providing expertise, leadership and strategic advice in healthcare facility patient flow, organisational disaster preparedness and disruption response, with a focus on building capacity in SCHHS personnel and processes.
