**Objectives of this role**
- Working under the service manager to deliver administrative support, to contribute to the efficient running of the day-to-day functions of the office
- Serve as the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests in a timely manner
- Ensure optimal use of office equipment and supplies & stock control of these
- Maintain workflow by working under operating policies & procedures, including scheduling, communications, documentation, and all other administrative functions as required
- Assisting, as required, with basic accounting and support to the accounts manager
- Coordinate services with supervision and support from the service manager
- Oversee and achieve organizational goals while upholding best practices
- Provide after-hours support (mornings, evenings and weekends) on an agreed upon rotating roster as oncall support to our clients and support staff.
**Responsibilities**
- Supporting with the oncall phone on a rotating roster (commencing after the training period)
- Greeting support workers and any other visitors when they come to the office and maintaining an organized, clean office environment
- Ad hoc errands supporting the management team
- Plan, organize, and schedule meetings in the office, off-site, and via videoconference (eg. Teams, Zoom etc) when requested
- Assist in the coordination of support worker schedules
- Maintain filing system, online registers in Excel, practice management software (currently using ShiftCare) with up-to-date information pertaining to clients and staff
- Order and oversee office supplies as directed
**About the role and what we can offer you**
- Starting with a 3-day roster per week (preferred days would be Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) between the hours of 9am & 3pm, with a plan to add an additional day (Friday) per week over time
- Commence as a casual employee and progress to permanent part time
- Oncall roster is flexible and will be negotiated with the successful applicant

- Renumeration as per the SCHADS award, depending on the applicant’s relevant experience and qualifications

**Required skills and qualifications**
- Experience and knowledge of the NDIS
- Proven administrative experience
- Skills and professionalism to work on an oncall phone roster, sharing this with the management team
- Strong skills in the use of computers and associated programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Understanding towards all persons, including those with disability
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Blue Card (Working With Children Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
**Preferred skills**
- Experience as a House or Team Leader in disability care, wanting to work in an administrative-based role would also be advantageous
- Prior experience in an accounts-based administration role would be advantageous
- Social media and/or marketing skills would be highly regarded
- Previous experience in a community care/ disability care role (whether this be in administration/ accounts or in a support worker-style role)
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: Up to $38.08 per hour

**Experience**:
