**Avivo provide support to people with frailty, disability or mental illness to live in their own home. **Our Support Workers work alongside people, from all walks of life, giving them a helping hand to live their life.**

If you have an enthusiastic and positive outlook, are reliable and intuitive, like a challenge and care about people living at home in their community then this role could be for you.

**There's no 'typical day' but it may include...**
- Domestic assistance for someone who can’t do this themselves
- Helping someone have a shower and/or getting dressed
- A trip to the local shops, doctor or community based activity
- Checking in and engaging with your team (we’ll give you a phone to do this)

**A positive attitude, compassion and resilience is a must have as not going to lie, it can be tricky at times But not to worry, your team will have your back**

**You'll need**:

- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one; Avivo will help cover the cost of the clearance
- Availability to attend training during the week

- Excellent communication skills and a can do attitude to help ensure our customers receive flexible and individualised support
- ** Flexible availability to work shifts between Monday to Friday and occasional weekends.**

**What’s in it for you?**
- An hourly rate between $23.16 and $31.41 per hour plus super and afternoon/evening shift loading, weekend penalties and all leave accruals
- If you have a relevant Cert 3 you'll get $30.46 per hour
- If you have a relevant Cert 4 or above you'll get $31.41 per hour
- Option to Salary Package up to $18,550 to reduce taxable income - meaning you can legitimately pay less tax and increase your take-home pay
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support through our on the job Traineeship program - ask us how
- As a part time employee you'll accrue annual leave and sick leave and while you're on annual leave you'll get 17.5% leave loading
