**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking a results-driven professional with a proven track record in project supervision and coordination to manage projects within our Street Furniture division. This role is vital to ensuring the successful delivery of installations, refurbishments, and removals of public infrastructure such as bus shelters, including all associated civil works.
Based from South Melbourne or Noble Park, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise various construction and civil projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising materials and managing supply chains
- Coordinating project schedules and site activities
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring progress to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
- Handling project documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Supporting the quoting and estimating process
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise site works including shelter refurbishment, removal, and installation
- Coordinate with civil contractors for groundwork and preparation
- Maintain accurate records and project documentation
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Identify and resolve project issues in real time
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the project
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
**About You**:
We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
**You will have**:
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or Construction Supervisor
- Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Experience in quoting and estimating
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- High-level problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with project management software (desirable)
