**About Gidget Foundation Australia**
Gidget Foundation Australia (GFA) is the largest and only national provider of free specialist perinatal mental
health psychological services to support the emotional wellbeing of expectant and new parents.

**About the role**
Reporting to Clinical Director, the Clinical Services Manager is responsible for managing the clinical operations of
the organisation. The role will work closely with the Clinical Team Leaders to support contracted clinicians and
oversee all aspects of GFA’s high quality clinical service delivery. The role will also provide clinical advice and
manage day to day business activities, while also supporting growth and change.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist the Clinical Director in building a culture of strong clinical governance to support the delivery of safe,

high-quality perinatal mental health care.
- Provide leadership and line management to a high performing clinical team.
- Manage contractor relationships, ensuring scope of practice is well-defined and clearly articulated.
- Oversee day to day clinical services operations and delivery of key projects and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence and continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in Health promotion, advocacy education and training initiatives.
- Consolidate and expand relationships with key external stakeholders and referral networks.
- Present at external conferences, seminars and workshops.
- Act as clinical spokesperson for media and advocacy activities.

**Essential Criteria**
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Psychology Board approved supervisor with previous supervision experience.
- Previous experience leading and managing a clinical team.
- Collaborative leadership style with strong relationship management skills.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in perinatal mental health service delivery.
- Demonstrated initiative and an ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working within the not-for-profit health sector would be an advantage.
- A willingness to undertake some overnight travel to attend events and conferences.
