A fantastic opportunity to join our Technical and Regulation team as a Technical Officer.

As the Technical Officer you will be responsible for providing support in delivering technical and regulatory information and advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders to support industry compliance with current building legislation, regulations and codes.

This position also assists with assessment, issuing occupancy permits for prescribed temporary structures and places of public entertainment and development, reviews and delivery of technical and education materials and seminars.

**What we are looking for**:

- Sound knowledge of the building regulatory framework including the National Construction Code, Building Regulations, the Building Act and other relevant legislation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide accurate and detailed documentation / communication in technical and non-technical language.
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service, including the ability to be proactive in identifying customer requirements, and establish and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in building surveying, construction management, engineering and/or related fields that are relevant to the role, either completed or near completion.
