**About the role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive individual to join our team in a crucial role that involves portering patients from the Emergency Department (ED) to various wards, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their journey. In addition to patient transportation, this position includes some cleaning duties to help maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment. The role involves shift work, offering flexibility and a dynamic schedule. Reporting directly to the Patient Support Services Manager, you will be integral to the efficient operation of the hospital. While initially based in the ED, there is an exciting opportunity to transition to a wider role, assisting throughout the hospital as needed.
