The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is seeking a Communications and Engagement Officer to join the Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol branch.
This is a diverse role where you'll support the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans for Digital Victoria, a group within DPC. Digital Victoria's vision is to build a Victoria with better, more accessible services, a public sector that is digital ready and a digital economy that thrives.
On a day to day basis, you will coordinate communications campaign timelines, provide tactical digital communications advice and develop and maintain tools to support the team's documentation management.
A passion for collaboration and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships will see you succeed in this role.
About you
- Demonstrated experience working in communications, preferrably within a governement environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Well developed written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience contributing working as a proactive and helpful member of the team
- Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or engagement and at least 2 years experience working in a communications role
