K. Azuma Pty Ltd operates one of the most successful family hospitality businesses in Sydney. We offer the perfect blend of authentic Japanese cuisine and luxury dining experiences. For over a decade, Azuma restaurant has been repeatedly recognised and awarded for its outstanding food, eclectic beverage selection curated by our proud master sommelier, and consistently friendly and knowledgeable service. We proudly celebrated our 28th anniversary this year.

At the end of 2023, we farewelled our cherished home location in Chifley Tower after twenty-one remarkable years due to the Tower’s redevelopment project. Reflecting on the past years, we are filled with gratitude for the kindness and unwavering support we've received from our loyal customers. We now are in the final process of relocating to new premises in Sydney CBD and looking for additional new staff to help us build another world-class Azuma with us.

**About the Role**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Cleaning and washing up the kitchen area and equipment
- Restocking kitchen supplies and maintaining equipment as needed
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
- Assisting with restock and stock rotation and manage deliveries
- Work closely with our Chefs with food preparation, plating desserts.

**THE PERSON**:

- Ideally you will have experience in a similar kitchen hand position
- Great personality and strong communication skills with Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and procedures
- Ready to learn more about food and work closely with our chefs and front of house staff

We are looking for someone who understands how to run a seamless service, and has a genuine passion for hospitality. An interest in Japanese food and culture is essential - an existing understanding of Japanese food and culture is a bonus.

**Job Type**: Casual, 3-5 days a week
