This is a role for someone who sees coffee as a craft — not a side hustle. You’ve mastered your technique and offer, and you’re looking for a space where your skill and precision behind the machine can be shared, enjoyed and appreciated.

We’re a small café + retail space with a focus on health, wellness and community. This isn’t your average barista gig. We’re looking for a bar-ista — someone who’s mastered the art of espresso, and who’s excited to craft elevated drinks like matcha, cacao, and herbal tonics with just as much skill and care.

**About the Role**
- Handle 5 - 7kg of coffee per day, solo behind the machine
- Preparing a range of health-focused drinks (e.g. matcha, cacao, teas, elixirs, adaptogens)
- Welcoming customers with warmth and ease—community is everything
- A confident, calm and professional with at least 2 years barista experience
- Friendly, sociable, and able to build rapport within a team and with locals and regulars
- Passionate about quality ; quality coffee, quality service and quality experience.
- Clean, reliable, and consistent — from opening setup to final wipe-down

**Barista Skillset Checklist**
- Grinder dial-in and shot adjustments
- Espresso extraction and milk texturing (including alt milks)
- Strong workflow under pressure
- Able to produce high quality, consistent coffee every time
- Bonus if you’re confident with: matcha, cacao, plant-based drinks, and pour-over
