Position: Support Worker (Female Preferred)
- **Location**: Aldinga Beach, Southern Suburbs
- **Shift Requirements**:

- Before School Care
- 3 days per week, 2 hours per day (morning shifts)

**About the Role**

We are seeking a younger female support worker to assist a client who attends school in Aldinga. This role focuses on providing structured before-school support and building a trusting relationship with both the child and their family.

R**esponsibilities**
- Provide before-school support in a nurturing and structured manner.
- Assist the child with preparing for the school day, including morning routines.
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the child and family
- Liaise closely with the family and any other professionals involved to ensure consistent care.
- Adhere to the client's Positive Behaviour Support Plan to ensure safety and well-being.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a calm and engaging environment.

**Essential Experience**
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally with behaviour support needs.
- Understanding of restrictive practices and trauma-informed care.
- Experience supporting clients with mental health challenges is desirable but not essential.
