Skill Hire are seeking motivated 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year Apprentice Electricians to join our Apprenticeship Program with immediate commencements available.

As part of our Apprenticeship Program, you will receive on-going support, training, and development opportunities through our dedicated Skills Development Consultants and most importantly, our valued Host Employers. We together are committed to supporting your success

Placement locations are available across North & South of the River in the Perth Metropolitan area.

**General Responsibilities of an Electrical Apprentice**:

- Measuring and laying out installation points
- Connecting wires and cables to terminal points and connectors
- Diagnosing, testing, and fixing faults
- Testing circuits
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Use hand and power tools

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- WA Driver's license with reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- Proven work history in the Electrical Industry under an Apprenticeship Training Contract
- Ability to pass and complete Pre-Employment Requirements such as aptitude/drug and alcohol testing
- Strong willingness to learn and further develop current skill set.

**Wages**:
Junior Rates:

- 1st Year - $14.62 (left school before year 12) - $16.03 (finished year 12)
- 2nd Year - $17.43 (left school before year 12) - $18.84 (finished year 12)
- 3rd Year - $20.24
- 4th Year - $23.61

Adult Rates:

- (21 years old+ at Commencement of Apprenticeship)_
- 1st Year - $23.05
- 2nd to 4th Year - $25.16
