Supervisor / All-rounder - Experienced Bartender

**SUPERVISOR / ALL-ROUNDER - Experienced Bartender, Waiter, Host.**


Our venue is a friendly, franchised steak-house, serving high-quality, tasty food that is simple and honest. We have a wonderful, loyal customer-base that is growing steadily over recent times, as a result of our improving, customer-focused service.


We are looking for an industry pro; someone energetic, experienced, and good-natured, to join our bright and positive team as a right-hand-person in support of the Venue Manager.


**3+ years of experience as a waiter or bartender would be nice, or even experience in three or four different restaurants over a shorter period.**


We have good systems in place to ensure we have an efficient team, producing smooth operations from service to service, so having a Supervisor who is perpetually teaching and holding good standards is an essential part of maintaining our momentum.


**The key responsibilities of our 2IC (Supervisor) will be**:
1. Managing the team and the guests' experience on nights when the Venue Manager is not working.

2. Provide excellence in guest relations and lead the team by joyous example.

3. Making sure that the bar is maintained in terms of cleanliness and stock rotation.

4. Ordering the required bar stock each week.

5. Helping to train new staff, particularly bar staff.

6. Working a combination of hands-on bar shifts and floor shifts.

7. Creating new cocktails from time to time.

8. Adhering to (and promoting) our systems and standards consistently.

9. Helping to drive sales.

10. Being an advocate for the Management Team, supporting decisions that are made.


**Other tasks will include**:
1. Closing the restaurant several nights a week and securing the premises.

2. Completing the end of night reports and cash handling.

3. Serving food and drinks, maintaining tables to a high level, and clearing and resetting tables occasionally.

4. Making drinks, coffees and cocktails.

5. Maintaining a clean bar (and cycling glassware quickly) during a bar shift.

6. Restocking the bar, (and training others how to do so effectively) according to our systems.

7. Communicating with the Venue Manager any issues or needs of the restaurant, customers or staff.

8. Maintain good relations with our friendly Kitchen Team.

9. Participate positively in the decision making processes of the restaurant.

This list is a good description of our Management Team as a whole, with whom you will be working most closely, (including our Head Chef).



Tips (and wages) are allocated each week and paid into your account. All tips end up in the hands of the staff, under a very fair and balanced system.


A current RSA will be required.
