**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the IICS((Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) Platform Lead the Integration Consultant will join the Integration team. The Integration Consultant will be responsible for providing technical skills for the integration of the data into existing, retained, and transitioning business systems using IICS. The role requires someone with a deep understanding of integrations particularly within IICS CDI(Cloud Data Integration) & CMI (Cloud Mass Ingestion) and the various systems it must integrate with, as well as a keen ability to identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.

**A day in the life of a Integration Consultant - Informatica**
- Development, bug fixing, problem solving and addressing incidents for the integration platform
- Provide continuous improvements and assessment of the solutions and its impacts on the platform
- Work on building and maintaining IICS platform environments
- Adhere and confirm to the governance frameworks as part of day to day activities
- Work closely with Business Analysts/Functional Consultants to translate complex business specs into technical design for development and delivery.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops to design the above and implement the POCs and trial pilot roll outs.
- Provide consultation to the partner consulting teams with a dotted reporting line to the role for implementation of Integration for the program.
- Ensure the alignment of partnering consulting team’s implementation to design and best practices through peer review.
- Deliver Architecture artefacts and review the technical integration solutions and associated documentation.

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Qualifications, Experience & technical requirements_
- 7+ years of IT experience with 5+ years specialising in Data Integration design and development.
- Solid understanding of data integration principles, best practices and patterns.
- Extensive experience operating as a IICS Integration Consultant - with at least 3 full project life cycle implementations in Informatica Powercenter/developer/BDM/IICS for OLAP/OLTP requirements.
- Experience in design, build and troubleshooting of integrations using any/all of the aforesaid Informatica Middleware Technology with all the infra, security and network considerations
- Extensive experience and knowledge for Bulk data ingestion, data transformations, API Integrations using more than 50% of the available transformations within the Informatica ecosystem.
- Extensive experience of working in various types of sources such as flat/Hierarchical file systems, RDBMS, Cloud DB’s and API’s.
- Experience working with streaming data integrations.
- Experience with working hands on with design, development and delivering complex integration using Powercenter/IICS.
- Working with Informatica On-Prem or IICS cloud with CI/CD/Version Control experience
- Experience in Linux Shell scripting and advanced SQL programming.
- Experience with PDO and optimizing the performance of long running IICS batch jobs.
- The following would also be highly desireable_

Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure is an added advantage
Knowledge of native cloud-GCP and/or Azure toolsets to perform additional data integration outside IICS.

- Previous experience setting up the IICS Platform toolset and well versed with all the infra, security and network considerations.
- Ability to learn new technologies as and when required to ensure seamless data integration implementation with IICS/Cloud native toolsets.
