Are you ready to play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety, compliance, and high-quality upkeep of our stores across Kmart and Target? We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance professional to act as a liaison between the property and store teams, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of maintenance issues through effective communication and coordination.

This role is open to being based in any State.

**What you’ll be doing**:
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager working at Kmart group, you will:

- Oversee all reactive and planned maintenance activities for Kmart and Target stores, ensuring they're completed within agreed timeframes to uphold store safety and functionality.
- Ensure building infrastructure is well maintained, including air-conditioning, electrical systems, and structural elements, so they operate according to specifications and planning for lifecycle replacements.
- Be accountable for all aspects of maintenance delivery, prioritizing exceptional communication to uphold store cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Ensure continuous stakeholder engagement through effective communication, particularly with our service providers and landlords, ensuring everyone is well-informed.
- Implement and evaluate safe work practices, ensuring a safe work site and taking prompt action on reported hazards.
- Be accountable for the maintenance budget across both brands at all sites, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, large format retail or a related field.
- Experience in coordinating, facilitating, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage safe work environments and uphold safety standards across sites.
- The ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
