We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Draftsperson to join our Engineering Services Team in a permanent role based at our Jandakot, Perth office reporting to the CAD Lead.

**What you will do**

**Your contribution and responsibilities**:

- Prepare a range of 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software
- Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and Australian/International standards
- Reviewing deliverables and prepare detail drawings in line with multidiscipline design requirements (Pipeline as-builds. P&IDs, GA and fabrication drawings, PRS & Metering Stations, Site Layouts, schematics)
- Visit various sites in and around Perth to record/verify/measure pipeline as-built inputs
- Undertake peer checks of designs according to ATCO/Australian/International standards and good industry practices
- Commitment to the continual design improvement process
- Participate in document management system maintenance

**What you will bring**
- Australian recognized design/drafting qualification - Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Cert IV
- Demonstrable CAD drafting experience (preferably 3 to 5 years)
- Proven skillset in utilizing CAD software for 2D and 3D drafting (experience with MicroStation would be highly regarded)
- Experience on process piping and pressure reduction stations would be highly regarded
- You are a confident communicator who can articulate problems, come up with solutions and share options clearly in technical and non-technical terms
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and negotiate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Able to function as a team player in a structured corporate environment.
