**Employment Type**: Casual (with option to switch to Part-Time)

**About the Role**:
Vector Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated **Maths and English Tutors** to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about education and want to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic journeys, this is the perfect opportunity for you

As a tutor at Vector Education, you will:

- Teach private or semi-private classes of up to 6 students from **Kindergarten to HSC**, focusing on Maths and/or English.
- Deliver lessons aligned with the latest **NESA syllabus**, using our bespoke teaching materials.
- Tailor your approach to suit each student’s needs, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students build confidence, develop independent learning skills, and achieve academic success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Identify and address individual student strengths and areas for improvement.
- Mark homework and provide actionable feedback.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and the Vector team about student progress.
- Uphold the values of Vector Education by creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere.

**About You**:
We’re looking for tutors who:

- Are familiar with the **NESA syllabus** and Australian education standards.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are patient, empathetic, and passionate about teaching.
- Have excellent marks in Maths and/or English from School or university.
- Are a curious and avid learner yourself.
- Have previous tutoring or teaching experience (preferred but not essential).

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A strong academic record (ATAR 90+ preferred).
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability during after-school hours and/or weekends.
