**About the Maintenance/Handyman job**

Yaran Property Group has a portfolio of over 150 properties for rent, short-stay and manages several strata complexes. We are looking a handyman to work with conducting repairs/maintenance for our portfolio.

Due to the volume of properties we have, there are ongoing jobs for various needs. This job will entail quote requests for approval, or direct work orders depending on the job and needs.

**Location**:
Many of these jobs are in Rockingham, followed by Hamilton Hill and Coolbellup. There will be less frequent jobs also in Rivervale and Rossmoyne.

**Hours and availability**:

- The hours of this job varies per week due to the volume and type of maintenance received, but is a rough estimate is 10-30 hours per week, usually a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Have availability to do jobs in short notice or quick turnover
- Flexible schedule for non-urgent jobs as determined between the residents/guests/tenants and the tradesperson
- If there is a fixed time or specific day for the maintenance requiring to be attend to, it would usually be within business hours between 8am to 5pm

**Experience and skills required**:

- Painting (including patch painting and wall repair)
- Replace doors and skirtings and paint them
- Replacing skirting and fixtures
- Repairing in recurring jobs like replacing or tightening door handles, tightening toilet seats etc
- Doing tip runs for a job such as disposing a broken furniture
- Moving, assembling and disassembling pieces of furniture and appliance
- Carpentry skills are desirable
- Inspect and troubleshoot maintenance as required
- Minimum experience as with handyman work/skills for 2 years

**Requirements**:

- Current police clearance
- A reliable vehicle with a van, ute and/or trailer
- Valid driver's license
- Employment/customer references
- Able to use computer and software as we send quotes and work orders through our Maintenance Software
- Sufficient availability to finish the job in a short time frame
- Flexible schedule
- Available after hours, weekends and public holiday incase of emergencies
- Have availability of at least 4 weekdays a week
