**Your New Role**

As aa Village Receptionist, you are responsible for providing a high level of customer service and administrative support to our employees, residents, guests and visitors within both the residential aged care and the retirement living sectors of the village.

You will enjoy working within our **Better Together® **social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.

What does your new role look like?
- Providing a high level of customer service and support, warmly greeting our residents, their families, guests and visitors as they attend our village
- Responding to queries and requests from residents, their families, guests and visitors and connecting them with the Australian Unity employee who can best assist them
- Preparation and printing of village newsletters, bulletins and posters for resident communications
- Maintaining the community news as viewed on the TV screens throughout the village
- Supporting Director of Care and Services and Village Manager to arrange appointments for residents and their family members to address resident complaints or issues as required
- Supporting the creation of community, creating linkages between retirement and aged care residents, opportunities for joint activities, volunteering, shared team resources, etc
- Generating resident invoices and checking for accuracy prior to distribution, ensuring all billing events are accurately captured (meals, cleaning, telephone, allied health, etc)

Does this sound like you?
- Previous experience working within a similar customer service or administration role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster productive relationships with a diverse range of people while maintaining confidentiality and using discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Genuine interest in working closely with elderly residents
- A driver’s licence and access to a reliable car
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19, including the Booster and Influenza
