Medical Receptionist

Our practice is looking for a friendly and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our busy reception team.

- Good level of computer experience
- Enjoy working within a team environment
- Experience using Best Practice software or similar

You will be responsible for:

- Greeting patients
- Managing appointments
- Managing and triaging the waiting room
- Processing Medicare, DVA and Workcover claims and payments
- Billing of appointments
- Managing correspondence incoming and outgoing
- Liaising closely with the Practice Manager, doctors, staff to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice.
- Assist with the administration operations of the practice

Experience
- Reception experience in a health care setting using Best Practice or similar medical software

Start Date and Pay:

- Casual position paid above the award rate, dependant on age and experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
