As the Front of House Staff/Cafe Barista, you will play a dual role - café’s daily operations and creating outstanding coffee beverages. This position requires a blend of front of house skills and hands-on barista expertise. If you have a passion for coffee, a flair for leadership, and a dedication to excellent customer service, we would love to meet you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages.
- Ensure a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels.
- Train, supervise, and schedule staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor sales, manage cash registers, and perform financial reporting.
- Develop and execute promotional activities to attract new customers.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a barista.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic understanding of financial and business principles.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
