**About the Role**
The University of Melbourne's Digital Strategy & Performance team seeks a Search Manager to steer their digital presence to new heights. This role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, from optimising organic search across all UoM websites to influencing strategies across paid search campaigns. You'll be the mastermind behind their content's success, leveraging technical expertise to ensure users find what they need effortlessly. Engage and collaborate with faculties to educate and uplift them, growing the overall search function. Your responsibilities will include:

- Content performance and optimisation across all the major digital properties that drive key audiences and traffic
- Organic traffic lead and acquisition strategy across all public facing UoM web content
- Technical SEO, content accessibility and improve wayfinding via link building strategies
- Analyse and identify data driven opportunities across digital platforms for short and long-term growth
- Driving change and uplift for UX and content via analyses and reporting on Digital KPIs, sharing proactive insights and success stories across University stakeholders

You will also have:

- Extensive work experience within relevant digital, digital marketing and communications field and tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive experience in delivery of Search optimisation, digital programs, search projects across paid and earned and working in an agile environment
- Experience with project management systems, agency stakeholder management, frameworks, tools processes and how these are practically implemented in an agile environment.
- Background facilitating, mentoring, teaching and coaching stakeholders and teams on Search and content optimisation best practices and how to implement recommendations in complex environments
