**Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC)**-
- **Location**- Silverwater and Eastwood- ** Employment type** - Ongoing, Full Time- ** Salary**- $75,728 - $98,943 pa plus superannuation and leave loading- No weekends or nightshift-
- **Your role**- Corrective Services NSW is looking for a Librarian Grade 1 to play a pivotal role in the delivery of services to diverse customers across NSW. If you have a desire to provide great customer service and develop improvements based on what’s important to library users, please read on and consider joining our team.-
- You’ll join a dedicated team of 7 information professionals who work from two locations -the Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC) in Silverwater and the leafy surrounds of the Corrective Services NSW Academy in Eastwood-
- You will work primarily at MRRC, and the Academy Library as required.-
- Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver and support professional library and information services and systems
- Manage or assist with library projects, operations, and systems
- Arrange, describe, and maintain access points for collection materials
- Identify and recommend materials for acquisition
- Monitor and correct data quality in collection management systems
- Provide high-quality services to onsite and offsite clients
- Contribute to and coordinate project work and special initiatives
- Present information, deliver training, and support staff and visitors
- Identify improvement opportunities and enhance systems and workflows
