Liverpool City Council is positioned to lead its community through immense change over the next ten (10) years. The LGA will double in capacity over the coming five (5) to ten (10) years.

**The Opportunity**

The position requires you to assist the Parks Coordinator in identifying, planning and to provide accurate and effective technical assessment and recommendations relating tree maintenance programs and project management of external contractors.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Extensive experience in coordination of contract programs.
- Comprehensive experience in writing tree assessment reports.
- Broad knowledge of developing and evaluation of tender specifications.
- Extensive experience in assessment of trees involving possible risks to public assets.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to be innovative in resolving conflict with internal and external stakeholders.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent and/or relevant experience in arboriculture.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.
