**Job Description**:
As a **Lead Product Owner**, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring and coaching a team of Product Owners and Technical Business Analysts. Your role will ensure that learnings and knowledge are being shared in the interest of continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to drive consistent practices across teams. Reporting to the GM of Product & Marketing the Lead Product Owner will work with software engineering teams, business stakeholders and the broader Delivery Team.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to identify user needs and work with cross functional teams to manage product releases.

**As a Lead Product Owner, your key responsibilities include**:

- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to direct reports
- Work closely with stakeholders to gain positive business outcomes; as well as determining priority and business objectives
- Identify and effectively manage risks
- Ensure deadlines are met throughout release planning and release management process
- Coordinate the release of delivery events with other Product Owners
- Ownership for preparing production release
- Ensure that products are strongly aligned with customers and the market

**Qualifications**:
**What you'll need to succeed**:

- 5 years minimum experience working as a Product Owner or similar role in product development
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies essential
- Experience in iteration and sprint planning
- Experience developing user stories, process flows, detailed requirements, acceptance criteria and other documentation
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in people leadership desirable
